About Riverstone Castle

Our Vision

River Stone Castle is working to become the hallmark of State Certified Residential facilities for displaced children from across Missouri. Currently too many of our children are being shipped out of state away from their families and the emanate care they so desperately need to recover from their hardships. River Stone Castle's will always begin and end with a goal to focus on the child's ability to become self-sustaining and live to be a functioning self-motivated productive adult.

Through collaborated efforts with other nonprofit organizations, community services, and state programs River Stone Castle is working to be able to afford our youth, their families, and our community various opportunities to provide healing and restoration guiding our children as they grow out of hardship and into self-sustainment. Through helping the children cope with their past experiences that often times felt like abandonment, River Stone Castle will provide purpose and developmental capabilities that foster a stable and loving homelife these children desperately need. “We are reshaping rocky beginnings through caring persistence, dedication, education, spirituality, and the best available medical treatment possible.”

The children will receive medical, dental, and psychological treatment while immersed in educational programs focused on developing life skills, career paths, as well as general education aligned with their individual needs and aptitudes. The facilities special medical and educational capabilities will be available for all Missouri students/children, particularly focused on assisting local area schools, foster care, and established state programs.

When an investment is made, there are always risks involved. Statistics show the higher the risk, the greater the chance of failure. However, it also means the greater the potential reward. We believe when we sow into the lives of others, we will always reap a return. Therefore, we choose to invest in the lives of perceivably high/at risk youth, their families, and the communities in which they live. Although we are keenly aware of the risks involved; their value and worth exceed far beyond any behavior they may have engaged in or any diagnosis they may have been given. We strongly believe in their potential to lead healthy successful lifestyles and are committed to cultivating an environment conducive for effective treatment and successful growth and development.

The unification of an organization is essential for setting and maintaining an atmosphere conducive for safety and trustworthiness which are vital to physical and emotional well- being of those we serve. It is our expectation that all communication within our organization be done with transparency and in a manner that edifies and does not tear down. We believe it is crucial to be slow to speak, quick to listen and always demonstrate grace to the listener. Cultivating a safe and trusting culture where everyone is treated with decency and respect is critical for having a healthy environment and ensuring positive and effective treatment outcomes. We believe this can be accomplished by humbling ourselves, establishing a culture of accountability, being self-less, setting aside our personal judgements, enforcing high standards of operational practices, and expressing empathy towards our children, employees, and the community as a whole.
